You don’t have to run on empty to prove you’re strong.
Discover how sophrology can help you breathe, reconnect, and live better.
Hi, I’m Pascaline, a Sophrologist based in Oxfordshire, specialising in burnout and hyperstress.
Originally from France, I offer sessions in both French and English, whichever feels most comfortable for you.
I have had many different chapters in my life, both personally and professionally. Starting again, adapting to change and navigating challenging times have taught me a great deal about resilience and the resources we can find within ourselves.
After many years working for leading organisations in the French charity sector, I felt the need for a change of direction. I still wanted to help others, but in a different way; one that allowed me to work more directly with people and their wellbeing.
During my career, I had seen many people struggling with stress and burnout.
I also experienced two periods of burnout myself, around fifteen years apart. These experiences taught me a great deal about resilience, the importance of listening to ourselves, and what can happen when we keep going for too long without taking care of our own needs.
Sophrology played an important role in my own journey. It helped me reconnect with myself and, particularly, with the relationship between my body and my mind. I discovered an approach that felt both gentle and powerful, and I wanted to learn more.
My training continues to shape the way I work today: with the whole person in mind, rather than focusing only on a difficulty or a symptom.
Alongside my practice, I continue to work in the charity sector in the UK, managing a charity and creating a safe, warm and welcoming environment for the retreats we host.
These experiences have shaped who I am and how I work: with warmth, care, attentiveness and a genuine belief in people's ability to find their own way forward.
Stress, exhaustion, difficult experiences, major life changes or simply years of putting everyone and everything else first can gradually disconnect us from ourselves. We can lose confidence, lose our sense of direction, or find ourselves simply trying to get through the day. I know this not only through my work, but through my own experience.
I believe that we all have far more resources within us than we sometimes realise. But life can make us forget them.
I believe that people are often much stronger than they think they are.
You may have lost touch with your confidence, your energy or your sense of direction, but that doesn't mean those parts of you have disappeared. Sometimes, they simply need space to be heard again.
My role is not to tell you who you should be or how you should live your life.
It is to accompany you, listen without judgement and help you reconnect with the resources that are already within you — or rediscover the ones you may have forgotten.
Together, we can explore what is happening for you, understand what you need and find ways to move forward that feel right for you.
I believe the sky is the limit.
And I believe it is never too late to write a new chapter.
How I work
A personalised approach, focused on you.
Wellbeing is unique to each individual. Everyone brings their own experiences, needs and resources.
I listen to understand your situation and help you access your inner resources. Depending on your goals, I use sophrology, NLP and coaching, either individually or in combination.
My approach is gentle, practical and personalised. I provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to slow down, gain clarity and explore ways to move forward.
Sophrology
Reconnect with yourself, calm your mind and restore your balance
Sophrology is a gentle, practical approach that helps you reconnect with your body and mind. Through breathing, relaxation, gentle movement, body awareness and visualisation, you can learn to manage stress, release tension and develop greater awareness of your needs and emotions.
It can be particularly helpful if you are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected from yourself or going through a period of change.
Sophrology can support you to:
• Reduce stress and mental overload
• Prevent or recover from burnout
• Develop greater calm and resilience
• Reconnect with your body and emotions
• Restore confidence and inner resources
• Navigate periods of change with greater clarity
NLP & Coaching
Understand your patterns, clarify what you want and move forward.
NLP and coaching can help you explore the way you think, communicate and respond to situations. By becoming more aware of patterns, beliefs and behaviours, you can begin to
develop new perspectives and make choices that feel more aligned with who you are and what you want.
My approach is personalised and practical, helping you draw on your own resources rather than giving you a set of answers.
NLP & coaching can support you to:
• Build confidence and self-awareness
• Overcome limiting beliefs and unhelpful patterns
• Clarify your goals and direction
• Navigate life and career transitions
• Develop new perspectives
• Move forward with greater confidence and purpose
Different approaches, one common goal
Whether you choose sophrology, NLP and coaching, or a combination of approaches, the aim is the same: to help you reconnect with yourself, recognise your own resources and move towards the life you want to create.
